I’ve flown quite a bit in the last five years (at least 3-4x a year, and it was about 8x in 2003), and the ONLY time I’ve ever been searched was when I missed my flight home from London – single person, one-way overseas, abrupt flight change = red flag. It’s almost always males flying on their own (and not always of the brown varieties) that I see getting rummaged…

You know, I’m thinking that perhaps a bomb sniffing dog might be more effective than you know, random groping. Because, hey, I’m all for random groping, but I generally prefer knowing who is doing the groping.
