The recent acquisitions:
War, Women and Druids: Eyewitness reports and early accounts of the ancient celts by Philip Freeman
Myths and Symbols in Pagan Europe: Early Scandinavian and Celtic Religions by H.R. Ellis Davidson
The Epics of Celtic Ireland: Ancient tales of mystery and magic by Jean Markale
Tantra: The path of Ecstacy by Georg Feuerstein
Any thoughts by those who’ve read any of these?
You should like the book by HRED. It’s a prime resource for much of my research.

the Davidson is pratically essential. i’ve only glanced at the Freeman, but it looks very good. Markale is fine so long as you keep in mind his biases, though i don’t place him on my own recommendation lists (largely because of those biases). i haven’t read that book on Tantra.
