Scorpio for this week:

You were standing in the doorway with your crooked smile as big and wild as the morning light. I was spellbound–lost all memory of who I’d been before that moment. You were as shockingly real as the perfect giant spider web stretched across my front porch when I left my house today. Did I hallucinate what you said as you murmured into your cell phone? Or did you really say, “I’m looking for someone who’ll teach me how to live forever as we make love with exploding hearts”? That was too sweet and fierce to bear. So here’s my loving complaint, which is also my bragging promise: I want you so much I want to be you. I adore you with such painful lucidity that I think I could learn how to find you in every bird’s cry, every cloud’s flow, every changing face.

FreeWill Astrology

Now, that is a situation that is right up my artist’s heart’s alley. Reminds me of something my warrior brother would say. Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Scorpio for this week:

“Talent hits a target no one else can hit,” said German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. “Genius hits a target no one else can see.” That could and should apply to you, Scorpio, at least during the month of November. I believe that you have a heightened ability to access special talents that have been partially dormant up till now. If you summon the gall to be almost crazily confident, you’ll soon be scoring bull’s-eyes on targets that no one else can see, let alone hit.

FreeWill Astrology

I’ve been noticing that this month, started on Samhuinn. While it’s nice, it’s also requiring me to maintain some level of impartiality. Normally, that’s not a problem, but it’s a little too close to home to not be a problem. Though, it is helping me with my fighting. The flip-side, is that I’m also in my focus spot, which means not much of a desire to talk to much of anyone. I’m still not really answering my phone, I’m on limited contact via IMs and mail. Strange. And my grove responsibilities are about to increase. I was given “the hint”.

Scorpio for this week:

“Dear Mr. Sensitive Astrologer: Let’s get one thing straight. I don’t want peace of mind! So stop trying to talk me into going after it! It’s impossible to have it on this earth. Got that? And another thing. I don’t care about your time-consuming emotional resolution stuff! I’m not interested in chasing after the unrealistic goal of being a nice person. I just want pure, raw, naked success–the kind of glory that makes me feel really proud of my powerful effect on people. That’s it! So shape up and start giving me what I want in your little horrorscopes. -Truth-Telling Scorpio.” Dear Truthy: I love to help my readers achieve glory that makes them feel proud of their powerful effect on the world. But in my opinion the best way to accomplish that is by cultivating peace of mind, emotional resolution, and kindness. By the way, it’s now an excellent time to make great progress in this work.

FreeWill Astrology

Does this mean I have to be nice to my ex-boss? I’m fucked. Now, if it involves everyone else, I agree.

Scorpio for this week:

You’re ready for take-off. It’s time to taxi to the launch location and prepare to go airborne. I suggest you do what birds and airplanes do, which is to fly directly into the wind as you leave the ground. As long as you’re forcefully propelling yourself forward, that will give you maximum lift. Oh, and flap your wings gracefully, not frenetically. Don’t stare at the ground right beneath you, but rather fix your gaze on a distant point high above you. Halloween costume suggestion: eagle, jet, hang-glider, dragonfly.

FreeWill Astrology

Hrm. There’s that dragonfly theme again. I really need to get off my ass and look that stuff up. At any rate, the flight has been postponed due to negligent equipment. 😀 We’re currently in the process of fixing it. With that said, it’s getting close to the in-between time, so I’ve been spending time with myself of late. Not really much in the company of others, outside of people catching my on im’s. I’ve been in a cleaning frenzy, and my room is clean, just need to take care of the floors, then work more on the sunroom. My desk is finally dismantled, we just need to call the waste guys to come pick that, and the old stereo that doesn’t work, up. Need to clean the floors in there, least where my desk was, clean-up the shelves and move the printer stuff against the wall so the gamers have more room. Eventually, we’re going to put the tv back there, and I’d like to make the front room the sitting room, vs the entertaining room. I think that will work better when we have parties during the summer.

Scorpio for this week:

In his book A Whack on the Side of the Head: How You Can Be More Creative, Roger von Oech quotes one of his clients, an architect: “Play is what I do for a living; the work comes in organizing the results of the play.” Make this your guiding principle in the coming weeks, Scorpio. Ask the universe to give you lots of opportunities to mess around and improvise blithely and resurrect your playing-in-the-sandbox consciousness. Come up with good excuses to let your attention wander and explore previously off-limits fun and games. A few weeks from now, you can begin organizing all the good ideas that your frisky experiments will generate between now and then.

FreeWill Astrology

Interesting perspective, definitely one that needs to be played around with! 😀

Scorpio for this week:

Medical researchers have discovered an innovative technique for fighting brain cancer: radioactive scorpion venom. Injected into tumors, it attacks the malignancy with remarkable efficiency. I mention this, Scorpio, because it’s a good metaphor for an opportunity that’s now presenting itself to you. If invoked and applied in small doses, a normally toxic part of your Scorpio nature can catalyze a breakthrough that will lead to a deep healing.

FreeWill Astrology

Ummmmmmmm. Yeah. Only healing I need, is to come out of this funk. But that’s just because I have too much shit on my table right now.

At any rate, I’m heading to the smorgasbord called Camp LeJeune this weekend for Captress time. Mraowr! With that said, one of my coaches is fighting on the UFC undercard this weekend. Rawk!

Scorpio for this week:

It’ll be a good time to feed your demons apple pie and ice cream. Don’t scrimp! Other actions that will put you in fortuitous alignment with the cosmic rhythms: looking for interesting, uplifting, inspiring trouble; unleashing explosive belly-laughs as you contemplate everything that makes you angry; forcing yourself to think a kind thought about someone who misunderstands you; bellowing curses in the direction of the brightest star you can see, blaming it for all your problems; and hopping and skipping down the sidewalk or hallway as you sing-song the names of everyone you dislike.

FreeWill Astrology

Finally, a charge I can agree with!!! Anyone for punch and pie? 😀

Scorpio for this week:

Last year actress Michelle Rodriguez was arrested for drunk driving in Hawaii. She was given the choice of spending five days in prison or doing 240 hours of community service. She surprised everyone by choosing to be incarcerated. Some observers theorized that she felt it would be a good chance to do research for future film roles as a bad girl. Rodriguez said, “I’m a gypsy. I can see beauty in a jail cell.” While I’m not predicting you’ll end up behind bars in the coming week, Scorpio, I do suspect you’ll have a bout with limitation. If you do, regard it as an invitation to accomplish three things: (1) Develop more compassion for people who’ve undergone comparable adventures; (2) expand your ability to find beauty in challenging circumstances; (3) cultivate your skill at creating opportunities for yourself in the midst of perplexity.

FreeWill Astrology

Wow, the boy stumped me. With that said, my friend Linda has me wanting to pick up my camera and take it everywhere with me. However, unlike her, I plan on getting a digital video camera instead. I’ve always had the nutty idea to do “a day in the life of me” stuff. Since well before MTV made it cool, and I’m finally feeling the desire to do it. Mainly so I can do video journals, instead of just trying to describe something, I can film it and talk about it at the same time. I think it’ll add an interesting spin to my website.

Scorpio for this week:

“Women are traps that lay for men everywhere,” said Franz Kafka, “in order to drag them into the infinite.” If you find this idea sexist or heterosexist, formulate your own version. One way or another, you need to get lured or yanked into a bracing experience of boundless possibilities . . . into a delightfully shocking immersion in eternal truth . . . into a whirlwind tour of sublime, brain-scrambling beauty. If an uncanny woman will do the job for you, great. If an amazing man works better, or maybe a magical member of an in-between gender, seek that person out. Play hard with the limitless, Scorpio.

FreeWill Astrology

Oh yeah, we’re traps alright, too bad some of us haven’t learned the finer “womanly” arts that don’t involve a kitchen. Very lost art, if you ask me, the art of seduction, that is. Of course, being an in-between gender myself, I guess I’ll take one of each. Which, being the abso-lucky person I am, I already have within my midst. And I cannot even begin to describe how amazing they both are. With that said, I look forward to falling down the abyss. Bring it on.

Ok, what is it with me and Leo’s lately (the zodiac sign that is)? Ever since my Bitch walked into my life last year, they’ve been all over the bloody place, and I’m the one getting interested in them! Seriously, is this some lesson I have to learn in personal domination? I mean, I get the hint, 3rd time’s the charm, right? (yes, this would be the 3rd Leo….fucking patterns).

Oh wait, yeah, I have to post these….

From 9.14:
Woe to the person who feels the need to challenge you — you’ve got witty retorts and dazzling debate techniques to spare. This person is just grandstanding. Stand strong and protect your territory.

From 9.17:
You’re about to be given the chance to embark on an extraordinary relationship. Be receptive to influences that shape your mind, body and soul, and make sure you can relinquish your need for control.

I have to say it’s pretty interesting, especially when taking into consideration the occurances of this weekend. I’ll post more about those later, just need to decide how much I want to share, and with whom I wish to share it.
