Ok, first and foremost….does the Shrublet think he’s so awesome that he can stall traffic on a main thoroughfaire for 4 hours? Seriously, I hope he was over-run with protestors for this. And on top of that, they’re nice enough to announce it in a newspaper that no one (except the insanely bored employees of the Hodge room) reads in the morning.
Other than that, I’m still slightly on the irritated side, but actually making efforts to work through it. The diet change seems to be helping, on the glucose side, but we’ll have to wait a month to find out how it’s doing on the health maintenance side. I figure I’ll start using my Sunday mornings for a kickass cardio session, with the sauna/shower alternating. To an extent, I’m starting to feel like I’m in a constant suspension in liminal space. I’m a here-nor-there whore, because the feeling is a drug high, but damned, I have to come down sometime.

You know. Something very simple, but very astounding in results…
Go to GMC or wherever, and pick yourself up a specific vitamin: Fish Body Oils w/ Omega-3 acids, for the EPA.
Believe me on this. You will be astounded in the results. I take one a day (along with a multivitamin, Vitamin-E, and Calcium), and the results are amazing.

Well, I was doing well, but I don’t get enough sugars for my body to function without starting to attack my muscles for energy. Is this something that will assist with that, or something that will assist with the other goal (fat pound loss)? Right now, I just take a multi-vitamin every other day, and calcium every day.

EPA (eicospentaenoic acid) helps control insulin levels, and helps create “good” eicosanoids. (this is a very brief description, cuz I’m too tired to expand further, but I’m sure you can find out all sorts of stuff on the net).
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is needed to help maintain and rebuild your brain (which one third of itself is composed of omega-3 fats such as DHA). There’s a lot of neurological disorders including depression and attention deficit disorder that are linked to low levels of DHA in the diet. Taking this daily for a couple of weeks will cause fairly dramatic results within a couple of weeks.
Fish oil capsules are a supplement for both.
