Ok, Ozzfest has officially pissed me off now. They have officially announced that there will be no Georgia date because they lost money last year. Well, if they did, I can say it’s because the day was ill-scheduled, the venue probably charged them for all the water they had to hand out because the weather was crappy and too many people were passing out. I can honestly say that was the result of crappy organizational skills on the part of the venue. The second stage was in a dirt parking lot under direct sun with no shade, whatsoever. The mist tent was by the entrance, on the other side of the venue, from the second stage, and the Paramedics/EMT’s had to work overtime because of the number of people passing out.
So, should this not change, anyone interesting in hosting a Freak for Ozzfest? These are the locations I’d need a host at:

Raleigh, Aug. 31st
Otherwise, I’m gonna head home to visit the ‘rents for the Dallas date.

This is the plan for us this year. We’ll be driving down, staying the night at Chicken’s cousin’s place, camping in the backyard, where we’ll be all of 10 to 15 minutes away from the venue.
Come to Cali, little cat. It will be just like old times, and we’ll have a blast.

depending on cash flow and days i can get off, i’ll take you up on it. otherwise it’ll be a drive to raleigh in hopes a friend up there will accompany and host. 🙂 i’d be great to see you again.

out of the 3 Ozzfest shows that I went to this past year, Charlotte and Atlanta were the worst in how they had the stages set up,etc.

yeah, if we can manage to get a date for here, i’m hoping they’ll shell out for turner field. they really fucked up at lakewood.
