Ya know, it’s fun to read what people say in their lj’s about e-list rants. Especially when you can figure out who they’re quietly referring to.
On another note….
After finally finishing my read of Mary Beith’s Healing Threads, I’ve finally got a grip on the massage oils I want to create. There was a section that had some correspondences of herbs and woods that were used for different things (e.g. sciatica) and body parts (e.g. feet). So, I went to my amazon list and sent for a couple more books to add to my research. In short, I’m going to work on creating oils to use on specific parts and for specific muscular issues, utilizing correspondences from various celtic sources. Hence the serious research. I’m also going to have to work on what delivery I wish to use, pulps, sap, essences, saturation soaks, etc. Thankfully, I have a couple of clients who are willing to help out on this route. I’m sure I’ll be looking for more at some point.
At a different thread: I have two scrying mirrors now, and I have no clue how to use them. I plan on asking my local elder, but anyone have sources to point me towards?
That sounds like a difficult project hon, but very rewarding. Just make sure your clients appreciate the effort you put into it… hopefully monetarily.
*smooch*
