Ok, for those who love most/all things Irish….go see Riverdance! Now! Especially if you have the magical connection to those things. They’ve changed it around, so it’s evolving (a nicely Irish concept that never sits still – I’m not speaking in the “everything evolves thing, it’s the cyclical thing”) and not the same as when Flatley was lead. But gods, it was absolutely wonderful. Mucho thanks to the moonbird for the ticket, it was much well spent and I owe you. I’m still all fuzzy over it, the headache is not from lacking of grounding this time. I spent the whole ride home doing a waking meditation in silence. It’s from strobe effects, I stared at them even though I know they give me headaches. *sigh* Wunderbar!!!!!!!!!!
[EDIT]: If you’re going to see a live performance of something (all concerts included), unless you’re about to puke your guts out, or some other emergency, DON’T FUCKING GET UP AND LEAVE TILL THE FUCKING LIGHTS COME ON! IT’S BLOODY RUDE TO THE PERFORMERS AND THE PEOPLE BEHIND AND NEXT TO YOU!!!! That is all.
I’ve only been able to see Riverdance on tv, but I was entranced. I actually have the Riverdance cd checked out from the library, and one of these days I *will* go and see a show just because that much dedication amazes me.
