  1. Actually, it seriously sounds like energy overload and lack of grounding/centering after ritual. When you do stuff, you need to let the energy go once it’s served its purpose. I’ve seen other people do the whole headache thing, with other similar symptoms.

Do some grounding and centering exercises, then take a nice, long, hot bath in some salted/herbed water and see if that helps any.

    1. sleep worked. i woke up pain free :). it’s highly possible that i wasn’t fully grounded because i did my best to ground during my drive to ritual, and i was called to evoke one of the realms, as well as carry remembrances. so needless to say i was put in the spotlight and had no choice but to swallow my shyness and go forward. moving up to that point is when i started getting flushed, did my best to re-ground, but it was sneaking around. i’m sure as i get more comfortable in evoking, i’ll have less instances of this, but i do know that it did have a bit to do with trying to overcome my shyness while being put on the speaking spot. afterwards, i went outside (it was cold) by myself to relax a bit and recenter. *sigh* thanks for your suggestions, i’ll do some work between now and samhain and see if i can reduce situations like this. learning to let go of things is something i need to work on, i’m horrid at letting go of things (the smallest insult can have me thinking for hours) and it is something that i’ve slowly been working on, but definitely have more work to do.
